Teuk Chha (TKC)
Teuk Chha scheme:
- Kompong Cham province
- Prey Chhor district
- Originally built in the 1950's
- Extension and Second reservoir built during Pol Pot regime
- Rehabilitated by MOWRAM - ADB in 1996-1999
- FWUC creation: 1999 by PRASAC project
- Area ~4,212 ha
In 2010, the FWUC was completely inactive and the communes were asking for support. The ISC started working in two ways:
- Creation of one FWUG for the secondary canal B
- Canal B: ~1,300 ha, 725 farmers
- Creation of an advisory committee for the operation and water management of the main canal and over the whole scheme
